GOLD & SILVER BALL
This annual event is the major fundraising event for Soroptimist International of Rancho Bernardo. The proceeds benefit several programs such as transitional housing for women and children who have been victims of domestic violence, and anti-human traffiking. It is an exciting and fun filled evening of dinner, an awards ceremony,dancing, silent auction and our now famous Dessert Dash!!!!
It is also a time when we honor local women, in our community, who have excelled in improving the lives of women and girls.
This year our honorees are: Gretchen Means, Deputy District Attorney,Center for Community Solutions- Cara Kiggins accepting, Kathryn Vaughn, Foster Youth and Stephanie Wiesenfarth, Girl Scouts of America. This year Susan Taylor, former local news anchor will be our host.
The year's 23rd annual Gold & Silver Ball will have a Venetian Masquerade theme, black tie optional. The date is Saturday February 25, 2012, from 6-10pm at the Country Club of Rancho Bernado. Tickets are now available so make your reservations so you don't miss this event. Ticket price is $100 per person.
